I am all in for balancing the masculine and feminine energies inside of each one of us and  equity between the genders. The world will be a much better place, when more people will understand women do not need to be so harsh on themselves and hide away their beautiful intuitive side and their gorgeous, sensitive nature to fit in with society’s expectations. And men also will be accepted when they are softer and more gentle than the rest.

We are living in the world of duality, which is perfectly represented by the Yin Yang symbol. Where the seemingly opposing forces create a perfect whole, represented by the circle. Black and White, Darkness and Light, Water and Fire, Feminine and Masculine energies are all representing the two different halves.

Whether you are a man or a woman these Feminine and Masculine energies work inside of you in different percentages, depending on your upbringing, your view of the world, the society you live in, etc..

I believe that in our society, where the masculine values seem to be the only measuring system of our worth, women and some men in general, are inevitably in a position to feel “NOT ENOUGH”.

Masculine and Feminine Energies are all part of the Whole

The masculine qualities for example are: logical, strategic, organised, etc., whilst the feminine ones are being intuitive, connecting with our inner wisdom through our emotions. As a result, women are forced to become warriors, pushing down their own feelings, being harsh on themselves, dealing with everything that is being thrown at them, whilst neglecting their own beautiful, loving  nature and feeling really rubbish inside: not being seen, misunderstood, taken advantage of, etc.

However, because both men and women are put together from different percentage of masculine and feminine energies, and not all men and women are the same, often these issues hurt sensitive men, as much as women. The aim is to heal and balance the Masculine and Feminine energies within us, because too extreme of either of them causes lots of issues in the individual and in society.

Gender Equality and Equity

Gender equality does not mean that women and men have to become the same, it is simply that their responsibilities and opportunities will not depend on whether they were born male or female.

Gender equity means fairness of treatment for men and women according to their respective needs.

I do believe it is possible to create a world where people are respected for who they are, whether they are men or women.

We all have a purpose

Our Divine Self/Soul has a purpose. We connect with our inner wisdom through our intuition. Our learnt behaviour, the way we were brought up, can often be in the way of us becoming, who we meant to be. Through aligning our inner world i.e. who we feel we are, with the outer world i.e. how we are seen by others / what is expected from us to become, we are moving higher in consciousness.

Through our experiences we learn to break through our limitations by creating or easing our boundaries, by becoming more compassionate or learning to receive as well as to give, etc. These are some of the different aspects of finding balance.
