In what way does meditation affect you?
You may not see your energy body, but it is there. You have an aura, an electro-magnetic field surrounding your body. Your mind is affecting your energy system big time. So if your mind is cluttered, and your emotions are controlling you, you can be disconnected, frustrated, emotionally overwhelmed, etc, and as a result you can fall ill physically, develop mental illnesses, become depressed, anxious, etc.
If you didn’t know about all of this, that is not your fault. Unfortunately they don’t teach you this information at school. Although things are changing, and you can hear about meditation being brought to schools to help the behaviour and relaxation of children. And you can go to Yoga, Tai Chi and Qigong classes as an adult, to nourish your soul too, not just your physical body.
